I mean, I guess it's possible that Trump's people ordered these custom Sharpies and the conversation never happened, but there are "Presidential Sharpies" that he is, in fact, using to sign bills and that he held up as he told the story.

So, what's the theory of what happened here? Some of Trump's flunkies ordered a gross of custom-made Sharpies, and then Trump imagined a conversation about them?
