THAT is an obvious attempt to put lipstick on a pig (with apologies to pigs).

His "diplomatic style" is that of a power-mad, ignorant, petulant bully who could not be a better servant of Vlad Putin if his behavior towards our allies and trading partners was coming straight from Moscow.
