“While Melania Trump seems primarily concerned about her own reputation today, she does call for congressional hearings. We agree,” said Bloom. “And the man who is mentioned probably more than anyone else in the Epstein files should be subpoenaed to testify: Donald Trump.”

My own brain is reeling under outrage fatigue like most these days. But : 1) I really feel for these women who are truly screwed over by any standard and 2) logically this is kind of a line in the sand.

They are going to bring back child marriage at this rate. I don’t even care often about a lot of the bs that causes firestorms of phony internet outrage I saw over the years which I actually directly tie to the loss of a kind of sensitivity in the collective zeitgeist where constant outrage about bullshit is leading to this sort of yawning normalization of truly vile behavior like this.
