Why did so many low polling Dems stay in the CA governor's race you ask? CNN says it's because [View all]
they knew that this scandal concerning Swalwell was going to break. It was whispered about for months. So they figured they would wait until it hit and see where they stood at that point. So I guess that's where we are now. At least it happened now and not after Swalwell was the nominee.
The same reporter is also pointing out that neither Newsom or Kamala Harris has weighed in what Swalwell should do.
