If so, Abbott will force a Special Election during the primary runoff. Unfortunately, Democrats have all been redistricted and won't know about the election in their old district. (I'm one of them!!!) The rural areas will all vote in the special election.

Ugh...just read it on CNN...

Abbott: "Emergency Special Election"
Democratic district, "No special election for 11 months)
