I'm sure no one wants to hear this, but suggesting women are responsible or share the blame for victimization is a VERY OLD concept, still accepted by many. And reinforced through decades by misogynist cultures that simply can't fathom the exalted male would be guilty of any wrongdoing (unless of course he was victimized by the siren call of a woman's sexuality)
Just seeing the current social media pushback on Swalwell's victims coming forward
"assuming it's true"
"why did she wait so long"
Ugh. I'm not sure people realize how long it took for women who are out dRinkinG in sHort skirtS !! to even be believed. We have a long f*cking ways to go
