First she wearing a Doordash shirt most Doordash drivers aren't running around wearing Doordash merch and then she pulls up in a vehichle with a Doordash decal on it and even fewer Doordash drivers are doing that. If she made 22,000 her federal tax would be somewhere around 1,00 after your deductions you can maybe get down to 5 or 6 hundred it's nowhere near the 3 or 4 thousand she claimed. With Doordash probably 80% or higher of income is tips as Doordash and Uber have been paying less and less in base pay. A Doordash 1099 isn't broken down into how much of it is tips it's just going to say Nonemployee compensation on line 1. So I'm even convinced the no tax on tips in the big bs bill even pertains to gig workers like Doordash drivers. Even if there were some savings more is being taking away from you with cuts to healthcare alone then throwing in Trump starting a war in the Middle East then your going to be spending even more and more everyday for gas. So there goes your tax break if you even did get one.
Plus a $100 tip to the White House is awful cheap. That may be a huge tip for a normal delivery, but if this were legit just imagine how many time consuming security checks you'd have to go through to deliver to the President of the United States. So they can't even do the photo op right. I think I remember Obama being a more generous tipper then that.
