I was sexually harassed and assaulted 4 times before I was a teen. That I remember.
And nothing they could have told me would have helped me protect myself. One was my brother sneaking into my room at night (after I told my parents, I was permitted to lock my door at night), a second was within my parents' sight (but below the water line at the community pool with a friendly dive coach "showing me how to position my arms"
, one was in the middle of a middle school class full of people, including the teacher, and the 4th was a bullying situation.
