patient handouts and work on it now so that after surgery it will be 2nd nature already and you won’t have to think about it as much when you body and brain are fresh off the blow of an extended and challenging surgery.

Best of luck to you! Follow your surgeon’s instructions like you suddenly found yourself in the squid game.
