1. A lot of Republicans believe that is liberals hate him, he must be doing something right.
2. Partisan media. When your news filter screens out any negative news, you miss important news, which slights your opinions.
3. Every President while in office is the most hated man in America. Even Lincoln was despised while in office.
4. Fear, as noted above.
5. There's a vacuum besides Trump. No one else is in a position to hold sway like Trump.
