The media often adds the word credible when discussing accusations against politicians. Like they use the word credible when it comes to sexual assault allegations made against Trump.

What they can't rule out is some random person making stuff up but even that might be unlikely to happen as men are actually more likely to be victims of sexual assault than have a false accusation made against them.
