The Senate Bill (S. 2592) was introduced July 31, 2025, by Sen. Ben Cardin. It has not received a committee vote or floor consideration.

Yes, there are road blocks to overcome, not the least of which would be a veto.

However, legislation that declares support for Ukraine as the moral imperative it is, is a step in the right direction.

Even if the amount to be provided in support falls woefully short, it is a step that is important. It is a statement that the good will of the American people can only be silenced for so long by a psychopath with no morals or values.
