US Army height standards set clear rules for 2026. They ensure soldiers fit gear and perform well. Minimum height is 58 inches (4’10”) and maximum is 80 inches (6’8″

. No changes from past years. Waivers exist for roles like aviation if function isn’t harmed. Height matters for all troops.
