And inherited the moderate Democratic incumbent, Bill Owens, who was from up north. Unfortunately, he retired in 2015, and I went to the meetup to meet his chosen successor who I liked a lot, made GOTV calls for him. But that's how we got stuck with Stefanik and there were protests all over in the beginning. And after she appeared on national TV alongside Gym Jordan during the second impeachment hearing, there were calls for her to resign, billboards went up throughout the district, I used to pass this one on my way home. I obviously vote for Hochul, vote a straight Democratic ticket as do others I know, and I sure hope that this finally rids us of national embarrassment Stefanik for good.
