not far from the house I grew up in (which is a couple miles from where I am now).

The little shopping plaza where that it is located used to have a Thrift Drug there years ago that closed well before Rite Aid picked up some of those Thrift Drug retail outlets. We have Giant Foods and Shoprites as well but I'm not in those that much (I now the Giant's has a pharmacy but that store is a bit more far-flung from me).

Other than the Acme, the closest pharmacy to me IS a CVS but I know CVS has been having issues (there are at least 4 that I know of within about a 6-mile radius of me) and I don't know what their plans are for those.

I remember back when I was in college at UMASS - CVS was the pharmacy chain of New England (which was the first time I had heard of it)!
