13. I'm taking my cane, and putting my walking staff in the parked car.

If it begins to buckle, I know enough to turn around and head back to the car and call it a day. I'm also concerned about hubby... walking is not his forte, and it's suppose to really warm Saturday. I don't want to see him push himself, either. So I'm thinking my hip could be an excuse to get him back to the car, if necessary. I'm trying to game it all out, and hoping against hope to see friends there I've not seen for years. But we moved out of the area over a decade ago. I don't know if I'd recognize anyone at this point, and I've changed so much... from an obese but get-up-and-go person, to a 95 pound little old lady with silver hair, I don't know if they'd recognize me! (LOL) I also plan to leave our plans with friends here in LV, just in case... at least, if anything happens, we'll be in a city with hospitals. Which is more than I can say for the little city where we live now.
