Fucking Tricky Dick.

So many unnecessary atrocities in that war (not that atrocities are EVER necessary, of course). Every escalation just dug us in deeper and led to further escalation.

When I was in college in the early 70s, a popular graffiti slogan was; "Nixon pull out (like your father should have)!"
