As of 2022, there were around 89,000 polling places in the U.S.
As of March 2025, there were 1.32 million active duty members of the US miltary.
To "control every polling place in the nation" would not, by any stretch of the imagination, require the drastic measures you claim.
I'm not saying it's likely to happen.
But If you want to convince those you characterize as doomers that their concern is silly, best do it with real arguments.
