It appears trhat zionism was a mistake.
But jews were living among people who wanted to kill them.
Zionism as a response to christians killing them.
Jews moved to Palestine. And, livbing among people who hated them.
The Jews who moved to Palestine, knews how to kill.
It was, and remains, kill or be killed.

The classical Romans and Greeks hated Jews as well.

It seems the Jews should have converted to Christianity at the time of St Paul.
