I think they just want to rob us blind and party with the proceeds. All the stuff they say about the poor, the struggling etc is projection..

they are too stupid to have a plan or even be evil in a grandiose Ozymandian way
I am not sure that you can be genuinely brilliant without finding ideas like ruling the world distasteful not to mention impractical. It would be impossible to rule the world undemocratically and not be rather an idiot.
