1. In 1962 the U.S. and the Soviet Union reached an agreement to end the Cuban missile crisis.

In exchange for the Soviets removing nuclear missiles from Cuba, the U.S. publicly pledged not to invade Cuba in perpetuity, provided all offensive weapons were removed from Cuba, and no new ones were brought in. Despite the lack of a formal, permanent treaty, the United States never invaded Cuba over the last 64 years. Naturally, Trump will ignore this agreement.
