83. Curious what the actual political leanings are in the armed forces at enlistment

Once there, who knows, certainly they hear some propagandized media. But prior to entering that culture? The all-volunteer nature encourages poorer people to enlist, and poor people skew democratic.

Most of the vets I've known have leaned left or been apolitical (just patriotic) but as usual the right wingers are the loudest....
