U.S. law explicitly prohibits foreign nationals, governments, and entities from making contributions, donations, or expenditures in connection with federal, state, or local elections, as outlined in the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) and the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA). Additionally, the prohibition extends to soliciting, accepting, or receiving anything of value from foreign sources in relation to U.S. elections, as enforced by the Department of Justice and the Federal Election Commission (FEC). These laws aim to prevent foreign interference and ensure that American elections remain a reflection of the will of U.S. citizens.

GOP party needs to be charged with breaking election laws.
