...is that Musk is thrilled to have them use it for military purposes, as long as they pay the appropriate fee. His complaint is basically like the cable company getting mad because you're paying for basic cable and stealing HBO, so they want you to pay up. A classic case of burying the lede. It's 4 paragraphs in before you learn that he's a black hat rather than a white hat in this scenario. Not that it should be any surprise.
