legal system anymore. If they have no obligation to follow court orders, the entire deck of cards (or what's left of it, anyhow) it is based on completely collapses...and if that's really where we are, this is not a country where anyone should want to live.

If the government can defy court orders just because they're the government--when everyone else has no choice but to comply--there is fundamentally no law, and they shouldn't be allowed to pretend that there is.
