...but I am unsettled by it.

For the record, I did not have a problem with the addition of the World War II Memorial, although it did indeed change the National Mall.

But that memorial, like the FDR Memorial at the Tidal Basin, has a more defined mission. I am uncomfortable going with a Global War on Terrorism Memorial, because the United States took many wrong decisions in response to 9/11.

And terrorism is an issue for many (perhaps all) nations. It's not as though it has been ended.
