In reply to the discussion: White House Staff Reportedly Monitored Trump's Trash Because 'He Was Sometimes Throwing Out' High-End Silverware [View all]slightlv
(8,243 posts)39. My husband, who has dementia,
has this exact same habit. Except he never picks anything up once he's done with it to dispose of it properly. But more than once I've had to go digging in the trash trying to find something he "probably" threw away.
Trump is so far into dementia you can no longer call it "early stages." Every day I contrast what he does with my hubby's actions of the day. Without fail, trump is so much further down the scale of dementia that I praise my hubby for what he, himself, as accomplished during the day.

Sounds like someone needs to be in a facility with plastic trays and plastic cutlery.

They think he was throwing it out. The more he professes his honesty the more inclined I am to count the silver.

Maybe it's an age thing, but I have a real problem with people throwing things on the floor for others to pick up.

New White House staff job description. Must be fluent in diplomacy, protocol, and sorting through half-eaten

Such dignity in the job. The voters really did throw "respect for the office" out in 2024.
