which is, apparently, quite unusual (generally they're shown several different views/angles).

The ref didn't even call a foul on the play. Perhaps you know, with your experience, but I'd also read that it was unusual for VAR to even weigh in on that kind of play.

Given the ridiculous officiating during France-Paraguay, it seems that FIFA has a real refereeing issue.
