Band and orchestra nerd from HS and college who dreamed (as a teen) of being 1st chair in the Boston Phil. one day. Pivoted quickly to History in college, but the joy of playing remained. These days, I'm wholly content with being in our little, two stop-lights town's civic orchestra.

I had a teacher. He also played harp and eventually switched to that almost entirely.

I played the clarinet in elementary school. I hated it. Called it the "rotten piece of wood."
