was in a movie called 'The Thrill Of It All' with Doris Day. Day's character had achieved instant fame doing soap commercials on TV. The old man who owned the soap company decided she needed a pool in her back yard and had one built, in a single day. Garner, her husband was an obstetrician, and came home late that night, pulled into the driveway in his convertible with the top down and went inside. Hearing thunder, he went back out to pull the car into the garage, drove around to the back of the house, straight into the pool. The look on his face as he and the convertible sank under the water was that scene I'll never forget.
