There's an organization of women lawyers in the Twin Cities that meets periodically. I'm on their mailing list, although I've never actually attended a meeting (I'm retired and have nothing to offer). So anyhow, yesterday I, along with the rest of their membership, got an email from them with an invitation to an event on 11/16. Then, within an hour or so, the head of the organization, cc to me and the rest of its mailing list, got this email from Michelle MacDonald ("MacDonald for Justice" ):
Its Michelle MacDonald, and I will be there. I hope to be a (organization name) elected as your Minnesota Supreme Court Justice by then.
Tuesday, November 6 is the vote date! (Organization name) is indicated on my law firm and campaign website
www.MacDonaldforJustice.com
See you all there!
Keep the Faith.
So I immediately emailed the head of this group to draw her attention to this in case she hadn't seen it yet, and I said I thought it was inappropriate for MacDonald to use the mailing list of this non-political social/professional organization to promote her campaign. She responded quickly and assured me it was taken care of. That's the kind of opportunistic sleaze MacDonald is.
