It would be a good thing to institute widely.

My comment to this story is that my representative, Teresa Leger Fernandez (D, NM 3rd), faced a more diverse population in her district in 2022. After redistricting-same state, same election-my district was redder. I gave more to her campaign because of that, even though she was an incumbent. So, although generally an independent commission is great in my opinion, in this case “wah-wah-wah” is my comment, too.
