They are all in hotly contested reelection campaigns, no need to give their opponents more fodder. Better to stay home and, crucially, KEEP CAMPAIGNING. Get out there, knock on doors, meet with constituents, work the crowds at campaign events. WIN THOSE SEATS!!!
