NORMAN, Okla. (KOKH)--A Goodwill employee found $42,000 in cash wrapped inside of a sweater two weeks ago in Norman.

The employee notified her supervisor and other staff and turned the money in.

Staff at Goodwill also found documents that helped them identify the owners of the money in the pockets as well.

Goodwill returned the money to the owners and as a reward, they gave the employee $1,000.

"I never expected to come across $42,000," the employee said. "I made the right decision, and I did the right thing.”
