2. Apple is not lying in those examples.

The "community forum" (all the posts displayed in the video) consists of responses from other users, There are no Apple representatives there, and no one there speaks for Apple. The only thing Apple does there, AFAIK, is provide the software and URL that runs the forum, and delete inappropriate posts. So if anyone there is posting lies (or inadvertent misinformation), it is other users, not Apple.

As for what constitutes an inappropriate post, I suspect the deleted posts actually provided the info about who to contact to try to get their data back, which Apple could consider to be advertising, and I think forum rules prohibit you from using it for advertising.
