8. If it weren't for repeated false equivalences, I'd applaud Skinner for monetizing the moment.

After all, it's the traffic from the horde that's filling his coffers. But instead, I've seen multiple comments about how "both sides do it" as if this is all taking place inside a vacuum, instead of being a clear case of a pro-Democratic Party minority trying to defend itself from outsiders intent on destroying everything we've achieved. So much anti-Democrat nonsense is not just allowed now, but almost encouraged. The Fox News articles allowed to stand on main forum pages, the constant drumbeat of every tired and worn-out anti-Clinton narrative the GOP ever tried to peddle, the abandoned jury system turned into a hatchet against other members. None of it makes any sense to me.

The primary is where the party is supposed to decide itself, and the general election is where the party is supposed to unite against the opposition that is the antithesis of all that we believe in, whether one considers themselves liberal or progressive. Instead, with the primary effectively decided months ago, Clinton supporters on DU have had to put up with being alert-stalked, shoved into "under review" silence, and in some cases, PPR'd just for standing up to the bullies who attack us here.

He's the owner, and it's his site. I may not agree with his decisions but I will certainly abide by them. I'm just a visitor, after all. We all are. However, this is my opinion, and I don't see anything happening to change it short of an open admission that Clinton supporters were allowed to be attacked all in the name of maintaining an artificial sense of civility that I've actually never seen practiced here since I joined.
