I visited the EFTPS site to authorize payment of the estimated tax due June 15 [View all]

Even participated in their survey expressing satisfaction with the process. And promptly logged out.

But now I have an email from Login.gov:

You connected your account to U.S. Department of the Treasury

To disconnect your account from U.S. Department of the Treasury, sign in to your account, go to “Your connected accounts” in the sidebar and click “Disconnect” underneath the service.

If this wasn’t you, reset your password and change your authentication methods immediately.

I have never had such a comment. Has anyone? And which site? Back to EFTPS?

Wait to Monday to call someone?
