It is always fleeting, it seems. There are people in this world who would seem to have many blessings but are still unhappy or depressed. And no one is really in a place to give advice to someone else whose life experience is different. So I can only wish that you can make peace with your own life as it is.

I was at a seminar where the speaker said we choose this life before we are born. I had to speak up and disagree! You’re telling me that a child in Gaza chose to be born there and have a life of fear and deprivation; having their family killed and their self being maimed by bombs? I don’t believe that! And I wanted others in the seminar to know that this vaunted speaker might not be right about everything he said.
But my point is that, while I don’t believe we choose our circumstances and may not deserve our circumstances, we can choose to accept it as it is. And that can bring some peace, if successful.
I wish you peace!
