6. Norwegian Forest cats and Maine Coons are

the only breeds that I know of who have a ruff like Lush has. Genetically, the NFC is an ancestor of the Maine Coon.

Could be that Lush belongs to someone as an indoor/outdoor cat and hangs out with the ferals for socializing and catting around.

Or, it might have got loose from a car and became lost. Hard to believe that someone would abandon such a beautiful cat, especially if it is a pedigree. The coat looks clean and smooth, like it's being cared for.

"Wegies" (pronounced weegee) are friendly and like being with people as well as animals. So if it is not feral, or only recently became feral, it might develop a friendly attitude toward you, especially because you give out food and the ferals are ok with you.
