I've noticed Madoc doesn't knock things off of tables unless I'm near by. I know it's his way of getting my attention. Or, most often, waking me up. And he is definitely the Alpha of the house. He sleeps next to me, every night.
Gryff is the loveable, playful brother. He's also a little insecure. Maybe he senses he's the only one not somehow related to the others. If I snuggle or kiss any of the others, he races to be next.
Arthur is the angel of the group. Sweet, kind, polite, charming. His favorite activity, next to treat time, is snuggling with me. He's the King of Biscuit Making.
Carys is the Greta Garbo of the clowder, but she now 'wants to be alone' out in the open, rather than under a chair. Her favorite sibling is Gryff. They snuggle on the couch. She did ask for pets and scritches, yesterday.
Sian is a typical youngest sibling. Playful to the point of exhaustion. She's the 'mouser' in the house. Not real mice, fortunately. She's also a 'mama's girl' and follows me everywhere.
I'm lucky that there doesn't seem to be any 'at odds' relationships. Occasionally Madoc and Gryff get into rather animated wrestling matches but there's no real show of aggression on either's part.
And they STILL try to curl up on my lap at the same time. I usually end up with Arthur and Sian on my lap, Gryff on the chair arm and Madoc on the back of the chair. On rare occasion, Carys will sit on the side table, accepting affection.
