...Arthur Miller's All My Sons on Sunday and I was thinking about his marriage to Monroe. I'd heard it said the marriage was a mismatch involving intellectual heft. Maybe it wasn't so. I can't say I've seen many of her films other so as to remember them, but my impression was that she played "dumb blonde" kind of roles. Perhaps people confused the acting with the person.
