Most muscle cars use a lot of gas obviously, the difference is they are hardly ever daily drivers. The percentage of muscle cars out there is so small it's not a real factor in carbon foot print. The people that think muscle cars old or new area a real problem are the real "morons", or a nicer way maybe to just say some of you are grossly uninformed. To the OP, that car IS a Mustang or Mustang clone.
I happen to own several muscle cars. They are pampered, keep in perfect tune and are driven less than a 1000 miles per year.
