Prayers requested for skin screening

EDITED TO ADD: My sincere thanks for the prayers and good thoughts yesterday. I survived and the news wasn't bad. There are a couple of spots that just need to be monitored at this time. I had a parent pass away from melanoma when I was very young. Since I am now very old, that was a million years ago - long before there were treatments available. But the loss was traumatic for me, so I hope you can all understand my stress level over these things. I sincerely and completely appreciate the compassion and understanding that my DU family shows me!!!! Thank you all - each and every one of you.





I am a real weenie about medical things. It stems from a childhood trauma.

I have to have a full body exam today at the dermatologist's office, and I have some suspicious things on my skin. I would very much appreciate prayers to get me through the appointment, and that I have the strength necessary to deal with any issues.

I know there are so many people who deal with so much worse. My prayers for anyone here who may be dealing with medical issues. May God hold you and keep you, and heal you!
