You can trash talk red necks all you want. There are so many tens of millions of them that it is like throwing water on a duck. It is like calling them stereotypical Americans. The Scotch-Irish are a minority in Appalachia, but they dominate. In the words of James Webb, you ignore the Scotch-Irish at your peril
