Many thanks to John Conyers for his long, meaningful, and principled service in the House, and very much the same to Bernie Sanders for taking a similar role in the Senate and beyond.

Our nation is in deep trouble at the present moment; but the situation would be far worse without the voices of these two incredible public servants.
