I want to re-link to an illustration I offered last week that gives some perspective on just how much money some of these totals that are kicked around exist in the real world. The illustration was created by AI (Microsoft Copilot), and each stack is made up of aggregates of $100 bills. The legend tells how much time it would take to exhaust the money if a person had to spend one dollar a second until it's all gone.

No working person should have any hesitation about taxing this country's ultra-rich much more than we do now. And there should be no way Congress lets Trump get away with redistributing this money Congress has allocated for a specific purpose.
