He got what he wanted, and that lawyer probably signed off on all manner of other shitty things, until, finally, the gag reflex point got reached.

Anyone still working with these people at this point, resigning or not, are not heroes. Nothing short of self immolation on the patio that used to be the Rose Garden will serve as suitable attonement.

And please, no more fucking books about what was going on behind the scenes, and how appalling the author found it but didn't do shit about it! Anyone writing such a book should be pressed flat -- Salem witch trial fashion -- under the weight of cases of their remaindered volumes of self serving drivel.
