I blame this 100 percent on FIFA's pricing policies. When FIFA comes in and says, "we'd like you to pay $1500 for a stadium ticket, $20 for a cup of draft Budweiser, $12 for a hamburger, $300 to park your rental car, and $700 per night for a hotel room that costs $250 most of the time, and in exchange we'll let you watch a game against two teams for whom the only possibility of advancing to the knockout rounds is for ICE to deport the other two teams in their group" it tends to make people think watching the matches at a sports bar is a better idea.
