Maybe it is time to attach conditions to blue states subsidizing red ones. [View all]

Maybe it's time to attach strings to the subsidization of red states, like critical reasoning taught in all grades, more civics classes, and higher pay for better-credentialed teachers -- not out of largesse but to protect the rest of us.
