What was his excuse then in egging the U.S. towards war? Or 30+ years ago when he started demonizing Iran with the nukes bullshit?

It's a serious misreading of Israeli politics and IDEOLOGY to think this is only about his trial. Trump is already working on having him exonerated.

Nope, Neanyahu's goals are the old Zionist goals of establishing Greater Israel and eliminating the last remaining threats in the region. At any cost. Gaza paid a very high price for Hamas not understanding that fact. Now it's Iran's turn.
